Demetrie Doiron: Closer

In the fall of 2005 Doiron released his debut compilation, Closer. Individually writing, producing, engineering, and arranging each song on this CD, he focuses on the slower sounds of the R&B mainstream. Doiron personally relates that Closer was inspired by the female relationships that occurred throughout his life, focusing on the emotions involved in breaking up and getting back together. He feels very passionately about his work and believes that in all aspects of life there is music and it is through these experiences that you essentially become more aware of your individual self
